1996 Chevy 3/4 ton 350. The old alternator has only 1 wire but the new alternator has 3. How do i change it?|||First confirm the "new " part is the proper part.
Call parts supplier and tell them your question.
When you are ready to change the Alt. first step disconnect BATTERY.
