How to license a 4wd station wagon that we turned in to 4wd from chevy truck?

I am going to turn a 1971-1976 Chevy station wagon in to a 4wd car and am wondering how i hould license it?|||It's still the same old truck with some body modifications.|||Stick with what the Department of Motor Vehicles says... don't ask, don't tell.|||Stay with the VIN of the body.
