If you go to an auto parts store gear oil is sold in a quart or gallon container. I am curious on how many quarts it takes to fill the differential not as how to do it, I do appreciate the help. If you are doing the work at home not all driveways or the ground is level so amounts of gear oil are going to be different. Roughly, how much gear oil is needed for a 1994 chevy C1500 stock 10 bolt rear differential?
I do thank everyone for their answers.|||it is usley a qurt an a half. an fill till comes out of fill plug an put plug in it be realy hard to over fill becuse fill plug is fill level . that where you gheck level take plug out an if can tough with finger its full . ok|||2.75 quarts.
