Where is the coolant temperature sensor on a chevy l98 350 camaro?

I have a 1987 chevy iroc equipped with the l98 350 engine. Where is the coolant temperature sensor located. It it an easy repair? Do I need to lift the car?|||COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

1989 Chevrolet Camaro 5.7L FI 8cyl The Coolant Temperature Sensor is located:

Under hood, center, upper engine area, rear of water outlet, mounted in intake manifold|||the sensor is right beside the thermostat housing, the temperature sender unit is located on the side of the head, that's the one that sends the signal to the gage in it the sensor is the one for the computer, both are easy to swap out though, just drain some of the anti freeze out before you attempt to remove them, good luck.|||You have two, one is the coolant temp sensor that feeds info back to computer and its on/next to the water neck on front of intake (thing rad. hose goes to)

Then you have a temp gauge sender, its on the driver side head, between the 1st 2 spark plugs

Both are easy to get too and take out. Just use a deep well socket or a boxed end wrench. You might want to drain some of your coolant out to keep from making a mess

No lift, jack, ramps, stands, etc needed
