What is the orange light that comes on in a chevy impala?

I am renting a 2006 chevy impala and there is no owner's manual. There is a light that looks like an exclamation mark. What does it mean?|||Check Engine Light - Tighten the gas cap and restart the vehicle. If it doesn't go away take it back to the rental company and ask for an exchange.|||your emergency brake may be on!!|||emergency brake light is usualy red. the orange light is most likely your gas light. it comes on when your gas tank is almost empty. just fill er' up and it should go away.|||Not sure, but the rental place will switch it out for free, and most of them will upgrade you for the trouble, just ask. Sorry I couldn't help about the light.|||If it looks like there is a cross section of a tire around the light (an ! in a horseshoe) then it is the low tire pressure monitor warning light. See if all of the tires are properly inflated.|||that car has got to have onstar hit them up and they will check it out while you drive in most cases they will ask you to pull over and put it in park. If no onstar take it to the dealer tell them where you rented from and they will authorize the charges and square you away
