What type of audio does a 2003 chevy tahoe play?

I have a 2003 chevy tahoe and it will not play mp3 format. Should it, and was there something wrong with the disk. If not what type of format does it play.|||chances are the cd player is a normal cd player, if the unit-face doesn't have "mp3" painted on it somewhere, it ain't going to play mp3 discs. find your albums in flac format, convert to wav... burn to cd-audio format for best quality|||I have a 2003 Tahoe, I don't believe it has mp3 capabilities. owners manual is online I believe from gm.com.
