My 2000 Chevy Silverado V8 5.3 will not start at the first time every time i crank it up, i had the fuel pump replaced because it went bad, and after that i took a long trip with it, and after that it started giving me that problem, I will always try the first time and than at the second will start just fine. I also replaced the fuel filter. Any suggestions will be appreciated.|||Your fuel pressure regulator is bad. It's a common Chevy problem.|||THE MOST COMMON PROBLEM IS CLOGGED INJECTORS. GM RECOMMEND ADD THEIR GAS ADDITIVE TO THE FULL GAS TANK ON EVERY OIL CHANGE. THEY WON'T ADMIT IT WAS A BAD DESIGN . LAST REMOVE THE IDLE SPEED CONTROL VALVE AND LOOK FOR CARBON DEPOSIT BUILD-UP. IF THEIR IS CARBON, REPLACE THE VALVE. CARBON DEPOSIT CAUSE THE VALVE TO BIND WHICH CAUSE ENGINE TO START AND DIED|||Put the key in the "ON" position and wait about 10 seconds for the fuel pressure to build up.
Or maybe you can skip the first time trying and go straight to the second time. LOL|||██████████████▄▐█▄▄▄▄█▌
