What is the difference between a Chevy classic model car and the regular model car?

I might be buying a 2004 Chevy Malibu soon, but it is the classic style. What exactly does this mean? I know the exterior look will be based on the previous model, but will the interior be the newer 2004 style? What about the technical side of it; will it have the fuel economy of the 2003 or 2004 model. I am asking this because 2004 was when they changed the Malibu and it became an all new model in reference to the 2003 model and earlier. If anybody could help, I would really appreciate it.|||A 2004 Classic would be much more like, virtually exactly the same, as the 2003 model. The 2 cars are a totally different platform, different engines (except the 4 cylinder) and all kinds of other changes.
