My Chevy Tahoe 2000 Limited would not start a few mornings ago and then after several tries it started right up and has ran with no problems. Then it did the same thing this morning and after several tries has started and is running. What could be causing this?|||Fuel pump or passlock malfunction.
If it won't start, turn the key forward and listen for the fuel pump to whine.
If you don't hear it, there could be a fuel pump problem. Try hitting the bottom of the tank and try again.
If you do hear the fuel pump, try banging on top of the steering column and try again.
If that works, the passlock sensor in the ignition switch is probably worn out.
