When did Chevy Beretta's first start using air bags and is it illegal to disengage them?
I have a 1990 Chevy Beretta that I'm restoring and like cars without airbags, I'm eventually gonna want to get a newer model but without the airbags in them.|||According to what I found the Beretta first started using airbags in late 1990/1991. You can disengage them but I believe it is illegal to sell a car with a disengaged air bag.|||Why would you want to take the airbags out? You know they are there to help you right? Also, Berettas are slow, ugly pieces of sh!t anyway.|||You can disconnect the but it's against federal law to sell one that has the bags rendered inoperative.
