What's the difference between the 93 chevy 2500 and the 3500?

I have a 3500 93 chevy with the 350 TBI in it and it is not a dually it is just single rear wheels. My friend has a 93 chevy 2500 with the 350 TBI in it also. What's the difference between the two if you took the 3500 and the 2500 stickers off they would look IDENTICAL. Is there something different as far as the gears go or something?|||GEAR RATIOS, TRANYS, COMPUTER PROGRAMING, TOWING SYSTEMS, BRAKES AND SUSPENSION...

THE 2500 IS A 3/4 TON AND 3500 IS A 1 TON TRUCK|||Sometimes a 3500 will have a dually rear axel or it will have the same as a 2500. Also 2500 and 3500's come with the option of gas or diesel engine. So some may have either one. It all depends on what kind of package came with the truck.|||more power in the 3500, more towing capacity as well.
